Realistic Drawing & Painting Class (Online)
This is a online weekly program that is perfect for students wanting to develop advanced level drawing and painting skills. Students will progress from line drawing to shading, to advanced still life, and portraits, and then painting (Examples of some stages shown in images below) through exercises that build their hand eye coordination and understanding of form and color. This course will help students of any skill level, to draw and paint realistically with ease and confidence

Weekly online class via Zoom with detailed email critique feedback(Crucial for correcting errors and developing skill)
In each class
I will explain the concept being taught that day with examples
Set expectations on what is to be accomplished
Students will draw till end of the class and ask questions
Students or student’s parents will send me a picture of the student’s work at the end of class via email
I will email critique on the student’s work and assign practice for the student incorporating the critique (Crucial for keeping the skill sharp)
Suitable for adults and children aged 9+
Lesson days:
Wednesday 7-8 p.m EST (More slots will be opened based on requirement)
Monthly fee: $80 ($20/class considering a 4 week month), Drop in fee: $25/class
Zoom meeting details will be provided on enrollment
Payment through venmo or website on the first class day every month
In case of a missed lesson, you can schedule a makeup lesson in the subsequent month

— Teaching Philosophy —
I have pursued art education for over two decades. I have distilled all of my learning and artistic experience to create this method to learn to draw and paint in the old masters’ realistic style.
Value of full-time atelier-type study without having to undergo one.
A flexible curriculum built around personal preferences and goals.
My goal is to help every interested student in reaching their artistic aspirations to the best of my abilities. I begin every student’s enrollment with a detailed discussion about the student’s needs and aspirations, followed by an assessment of their current learning stage to understand how best to help. I will create a customized lesson plan based on the discussion and assessment. In case I am unable to tailor to your needs, I am more than happy to guide you to where you might find the help you are looking for.
So, please bring samples of your or your child’s artwork for the discussion and come prepared to discuss your goals, time line, constraints and the best-case scenario for learning.
